The storm dumped a total of 26.6 inches of snow in Central Park on Saturday - a record of the day - led to Mayor Bill de Blasio for ordering 02:30 shutdown streets of New York City.
Most of the footage was taken before the shutdown, though the patrol car filmmakers did pull over at one point.
"Someone complained about you, so we're going to act like we're talking to you," said an unidentified officer could be heard saying rebel filmmaker.
"You're amazing," Impressions reply.
The impressions "Snowboarding with NYPD" has been viewed more than 500,000 times on his YouTube channel. (Even the nine-minute "behind the scenes" footage has racked up more than 350,000 views.)
